How to use VidLoad

Four steps. The file ends up wherever your browser puts downloads — not in a library on our site.

1. Copy the public page URL

Open the video in a regular browser tab. Copy the address from the bar — the full tiktok.com, instagram.com, facebook.com, x.com, vimeo.com, or vkvideo.ru link. Skip in-app share sheets that produce a one-line “check this out” message with no real URL.

Quick check: paste that same address into a private window while logged out of the platform. If the video will not play there, VidLoad usually cannot fetch it either. That is a public-link limit, not a broken paste.

2. Paste it on Home or Download

Drop the link into Home or Download. Wait for title and qualities. If they never appear, read why downloads fail before retrying in a loop.

3. Click a format when you are ready

Nothing starts until you click. Labels such as 720p reflect what we detected for that URL, not a promise that every host always has HD.

Worked example: you recorded a public classroom demo and posted it on a public page. Copy the full address from the browser bar, paste it, wait, click 720p once. Do not click five times — that starts five transfers.

4. Find the file in the browser

Large files sometimes trigger a “keep / discard” warning. That prompt comes from the browser. Choose Keep if you started the download on purpose.

Accounts and daily caps

Guests can save a smaller number of files per day so the service stays up. A free signed-in account raises that cap and keeps a private history of downloads you start while logged in. The product tells you when you have used the free allowance.
