How downloads work

  1. Paste a public URL from a supported platform.
  2. Review the title, thumbnail, and quality options.
  3. Click a format only when you are ready — the file saves to your device.
  4. Watch your browser’s download UI for progress.

A worked example: copy a public watch URL you published yourself, paste it here, wait for the title, then click one quality. Chrome or Edge will show the file on the download shelf. We do not start a transfer until that click.

Supported platforms

Public links from TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), Vimeo, VK Video, and other public video pages when formats are available. Support can change when those sites update. See the supported platforms guide.

When a link fails

Private, age-restricted, geo-blocked, or DRM-protected videos often cannot be downloaded. Temporary rate limits also happen. The troubleshooting guide and Help page list practical next steps.

After you click

The transfer belongs to the browser. Chrome and Edge show a shelf at the bottom of the window. Firefox uses the downloads panel. On iPhone, Safari may ask you to save to Files.
