VidLoad uses a small set of cookies and similar storage. This page lists what they do and how you can accept or reject the ones that are not required to run the site.
What a cookie is here
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. We also use local storage for things like theme preference and your cookie choice. Some cookies are set by us (first-party). Others are set by Google when Analytics or AdSense run (third-party).
How we ask
The first time you visit, a banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. Until you accept, advertising and analytics storage stay off (Google Consent Mode defaults to denied). You can change your mind later by clearing the site data for VidLoad in your browser and reloading — the banner will show again.
Essential cookies (sign-in session, security) are needed for accounts to work. Rejecting analytics and ads does not block pasting a link or saving a file.
