Troubleshooting and account questions. Happy path: how to use VidLoad.

First, confirm the basics

1. Paste a public URL on Home or Download.
2. Wait for a title and at least one quality.
3. Click a format only when you want the file.
4. Look at the browser download UI, not the original video app.
5. After you create a free account, history lives under My Downloads.

Daily caps

Guests share a lower daily cap. Signing in raises it and stores history only for downloads you start while logged in. When you hit the cap, the product says so. Settings and history pages do not carry advertising.

Checklist when it fails

1. Open the URL in a private window, logged out.
2. Copy the full address bar.
3. Confirm the host on supported platforms.
4. Wait if the error mentioned a temporary block.
5. If the UI mentions a daily cap, sign in or wait for the reset.

Help questions

The quality list never appears. Now what?

Open the same URL in a private window while logged out. If it will not play there, we cannot fetch it. Otherwise copy the full address bar and check the supported-platforms guide.

I clicked a quality and nothing downloaded.

Look at the browser download UI, not the original video app. Chrome and Edge use a shelf at the bottom. iPhone often lands in the Files app.

Why did I get asked to create an account?

You used the guest daily cap. A free account raises the cap and can store history. The message is about capacity, not a broken link.

Can I download a private Instagram post or a members-only video?

No. We do not log into your accounts or bypass access controls.

How do I contact you about a copyright issue?

Use the contact form and choose Legal. The copyright page lists what to include in a notice.
