What URL to copy on each supported site

Practical copy-paste notes for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, Vimeo, VK Video, and other public pages.
Copy the watch page, not a mystery share
VidLoad looks at the host name and the path. A clean watch/post URL beats a shortened tracking link that still needs a login. Below is what we actually want in the box.
TikTok
Open the video in a browser and copy the tiktok.com/@user/video/… address. Region walls and aggressive rate limits are common. If a link works in the app and dies in incognito Chrome, we cannot fetch it.
Public posts and Reels. Private accounts and close-friends stories will not work. A carousel can contain more than one video — pick the item you want on the download page.
A public video post that opens without login. Groups, friends-only posts, and some shares that only play inside the Facebook app are out of scope.
X (Twitter)
A public status with native video. Protected accounts and some quoted embeds that never include the media on the public page will fail.
Vimeo
A public vimeo.com page. Password, domain-lock, and purchase-only videos are supposed to fail. That is the owner’s setting working.
VK Video
A public vkvideo.ru or vk.com/video… (or /clip…) address from the browser bar. In-app share text without an https URL will fail. If VK asks you to sign in before playback in a private window, we cannot fetch it.
Other public pages
Copy the full https address from a regular browser tab. If the page only plays after login, membership, or a gate, we cannot fetch it. Results vary by host.
